We’re doing a lot of reading at the moment and will be bringing home texts to read to anyone who will listen at home – even the pets. Please help us by listening to us read our pieces. Mrs Wightman then gives us class dojos!
The start of this half term is all about fractions. We will be using smarties and toast and pizza to explore creating fractions, how many fractions make a whole, counting and fractions and writing tenths as fractions and as decimals.
This half term we are exploring reggae music. We will be listening to music and eventually writing and performing our own compositions.
In Science, we will look at soil and identify different types of soil. We will also start learning about animal and human skeletons and recognise different parts of a skeleton.
