Please let me know if you haven't received a copy of the new phonics scheme sounds and words to support your child at home.
In year 1 the children are encouraged to pick their own book to take home and share with you. Sometimes the children may find the book challenging, please continue to encourage using the phonics sounds and discuss the tricky words. Please use the spelling and read pack provided at the parent phonics session.
Thank you for your support.

Thank you to everyone who completed the Autumn 1 homework projects these will be used to enhance our already fantastic Library.
This half term we want you to think Scientifically. We would like the children to investigate a famous Scientist linked to any area of the subject- this could be Issac Newton, Alexander Bell, Thomas Edison, Edward Jenner, Stephen Hawkings.
The children can produce anything they like about their Scientist but below are some ideas.
We would like the children to be as creative as possible in how they would like to present their research.
Below are some places which you will be able to find information about Scientists.
