Non - School Uniform Day Friday 30th November
Children are invited to wear non - school uniform in exchange for our first collection for the Christmas Fayre. We would appreciate donations of £1, a bottle of wine or a Grand Raffle Prize.
Non - School Uniform Day Friday 7th December
Children are invited to wear non - school uniform in exchange for our second collection for the Christmas Fayre. All classes have been assigned a colour, we would appreciate it if children could donate something in this colour for the Colourful Tombola.
Class colours are as follows:
EYFS—Gold / Yellow
Year 4 – Purple
Christmas Fayre - Monday 10th December - 1:45 - 3:00pm
Parents, guardians and family members are invited to attend our Cherry Tree Christmas Fayre. Every class will be selling a craft they have made and will be offering a game for everyone to enjoy.
For parents who cannot attend the Fayre, you may send your child in with money on the day and they will have the opportunity to go around with Year 6 pupils in the school.
At the end of the Fayre, children will return to class and be dismissed the way they usually are on a school day.
Children are not allowed to leave school early on this day, if they do it will be unauthorised.
EYFS Nativity - Tuesday 11th December
EYFS will be holding their Nativity on Tuesday 11th December at 9:45am. Parents / Guardians have been invited to watch, and will receive tickets for the day. All information regarding clothing and roles for the play will come out to parents end of November.
Christmas Lunch & Christmas Jumper Day - Wednesday 12th December
Children will have their Christmas Lunch including a free cracker on this day - meals are £2.50. If children are packed lunch they will also get a cracker and be able to sit with their friends.
We are also offering children to swap their school jumpers for Christmas Jumpers (Save the Children) for £1 or £1.50 for families.
Year 3 Christingle - Wednesday 12th December
Year 3 will be having their Christingle Assembly on Wednesday 12th December at 2:15pm. Year 3 parents / guardians will be invited nearer the time and a letter will come home with pupils.
All of KS2 pupils will be making Christingle's as they do every year, the school are happy to provide all supplies but this year would appreciate it if parents could send their child in with their own orange.
KS1 Carol Service - Monday 17th December
Year 1 and Year 2 will be hosting their annual Carol Service. Parents / guardians will be invited to watch pupils perform on Monday 17th December at 2:30pm.
On Tuesday 11th December Year 1 and Year 2 Pupils will be attending Sexton House Community Hall, across the road, to perform their carols to the elderly residents.
Christmas Lessons and Christmas Parties
On the last day of term children will be doing Christmas Lessons during the morning and will have their class Christmas Parties in the afternoon.
For their parties, boys are asked to bring savoury snacks and girls sweet.
