The children will be attending assemblies each day at school.
On Monday we have an Ambassador Assembly. This assembly is designed to celebrate and promote our children who are excellent role models, both socially and academically. At Cherry Tree we believe it is important to reward good behaviour and excellent learning conduct.
On Tuesday the children have Reading Assembly. This assembly is a celebration of books, story telling, imagination and achievement. As a school we are really developing our reading systems and this assembly is another opportunity to celebrate the children's achievements in reading.
Wednesday's are the home of Pupil Voice Assemblies. This assembly is lead by a member of Senior Leadership and explores a range of current events and topics.
On Thursday we hold class assembly. This is an opportunity to have Circle Time in the class, lead by the teacher. We address more sensitive issues in these assemblies, we also explore teamwork, friendship, British Values or other PSHE topics.
Finally Friday assembly is for our Stars of the Week. This assembly celebrates good learning, growth mind set, attitudes and fantastic examples of academic efforts. We like to end the week celebrating together and looking forward to the following week ahead.
