All our work funded by the Pupil Premium is aimed at accelerating progress so that the vast majority of children leave Cherry Tree Primary School at, or above, the national average. We also aim for every child to make progress that is good or better, so that they leave having made at least 2 levels of progress from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Pupil Premium funding will be allocated following annual needs analyses which will identify priority pupils and groups. The following factors will be taken into consideration:
For the financial year 2016-17 our allocated Pupil Premium funding is £88,160. The total expected to be spent by the school on additional support and resources to benefit children eligible for the Pupil Premium is £88,160. In summary the following amounts have been allocated:
£17,427 Pupil Interventions & Strategies, £53,820 LSA Individual Support & Targeted Interventions, £2866 Pastoral Support Programmes, £526 Free snack for all pupils, £1357 Attendance Solutions to support families and improve attendance, £1311 Breakfast Club, £10, 853 Family Support Worker
For the financial year 2015-16 our additional Pupil Premium funding was £86,540. The total spent by the school on additional support and resources to benefit children eligible for the Pupil Premium was £86,540. In summary, £80,580 was allocated towards teaching and support staff for the time spent working with Pupil Premium children whilst the remaining £5,960 was spent on social and emotional support for children before and after school.
