At Cherry Tree Primary we wear our uniform with pride. It has been wonderful to see the children return to school in their new, smart uniforms. Below is a copy of our uniform list. We thank all parents who have encouraged their children to come in to school smart and ready to learn.
Below are items children may wear in addition to the above:
Boys - black/grey shorts
Girls - red and white summer dresses
In year 6, girls and boys have the option to wear a white collar shirt and school tie. Ties can be purchased from the school office for £4.00. This was something that School Council introduced to show they are the eldest in the school and getting ready for secondary school.
Please make sure all clothing is properly named. We cannot take responsibility for your children’s clothing. A lost property container is kept in the school. Please check there for unnamed lost clothing.
Every child must have a change of clothing for physical education. PE kit should generally be kept in school in a drawstring bag and taken home every half-term for washing.
Hairbands must be colour co-ordinated with uniform - no large bows
No jewellery, make-up, nail polish
Girls may wear one pair of small stud earrings however these must be removed and left at home on PE days. Earring tape cannot be used for PE.
NO BRANDED UNIFORM IS ALLOWED. ALL CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR MUST BE PLAIN
ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE PUPIL’S NAME
We expect parents to co-operate in encouraging their children to take a pride in their appearance. We will also continue this in school.
